They are always held in exotic places way beyond the means of ordinary people, they always involve extensive air travel which adds to the carbon footprint especially when, inevitably the leaders travel in their own special planes with their extensive entourage, and they always have huge multi-course meals which perhaps goes some way to explaining why there is so much hunger elsewhere in the world! It would be better if they all stayed at home and had their conferences by video link.
